1. Visual Fretboard

Click on the fretboard to select notes. Selected frets are highlighted in blue. You can select multiple frets to create chords. Use the toggle buttons to switch between frets 0-12, 6-18, and 12-24.

2. Chord Library

Use the CAGED system to select chord shapes:

• Key: Select the root note (C, D, E, etc.)
• Type: Choose chord quality (major or minor)
• Shape: Pick CAGED shape (C, A, G, E, D positions)
• Position: Low (frets 0-12) or High (+12 frets higher)

Click "Apply to Fretboard" to auto-select the chord shape.

3. Adding Notes

After selecting frets, click "Add to Tab" to insert into your tablature. Use notation buttons (h, p, /, \, b, ~) for special techniques.

4. Edit Tablature

Click on any note or dash in the tablature to edit it directly. You can:

• Click any fret number to change it
• Click any dash (-) to add a new note
• Clear the input to remove a note
• Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel

5. Keyboard Shortcuts

• Add Note: ⌘⏎
• Add Rest: ⌘Space
• Undo: ⌘Z
• Save: ⌘S
• Clear Selection: Esc

6. Exporting

Export your tablature as TXT, PDF, or HTML files. Your work auto-saves every 30 seconds.
